Guest bryan89
i have a 1989 Nissan Pathfinder i recently installed a rancho suspension lift (a-arms and coils) i also added sway-a-way torsion bars i torqued the new torsion bars to a little bit less than the stock ones because they are stiffer, but my new a-arms are resting on the bumpstops when the suspension is at rest (i.e. sitting in my driveway) it was even like that after i got it aligned please could someone with a similar setup tell me what to do to fix the problem before i get off spring break and have to drive to school? :help: i was thinking that maybe my torsion bars are too tight? is this correct and if so is there a way to draw the set bolt up into the frame without adding tension to the torsion bar?(like "un-indexing" as opposed to "reindexing")
somethingcool
Yeah just do the same thing as reindexing just turn the bar a few degrees in the opposite direction. But you'll probably need another alignment if you adjust more than 1/2" or so.
