:help: I have a 95 XE with an auto transmission. After the transmission shop has rebuilt it twice I still have a problem.

 

Sometimes when driving when I take my foot off the gas pedal the engine rpms will drop down to idle while still in gear. Sometimes it will catch and rpms will go back up where they should be, sometimes it will just coast as if in neutral until I hit the gas again. It happens after it has warmed up and I have been driving a while. I have only noticed this happening when I have the overdrive off.

 

I see this being a major problem if I were trying to slow my descent going down a hill without having to ride my brakes the whole time.

 

Has anyone had or heard of this problem?
