tube bender ordered!

i just ordered my tube bender so let the rear bumper and new sliders and other projects begin!

Sweet!! :cool2: Where did you get it, what's the cost, specs man, info! I just glanced at just a very basic one in the Harbor Freight ad using a bottle jack on crack, and that was enough to get an itch.

its a medford jd2 model 3 one with a 1.5 inch die $600 (without the stand or cheater bar).. im gonna have to make some stuff before i use it. one thing thats nice is it can be converted to hydraulic which ican prob do for cheap getting parts and junk from work!

Let's see..

 

Sliders - close fit w/ rock light mounts

Front bumper - prerunner style w/ winch plate

Rear bumper - double tube w/ reciever and recovery points

Full roll cage - I might chop the top off next year

 

Hmm...what else do I need?

 

Oh yeah, make me a sandrail while you're at it, ok? Just a rolling chassis will do, I don't want to look greedy.

 

Really though, have fun with it. I'd love to have one of those.

I looked at getting a bender awhile back, and was really amazed at how expensive the dies are for them. That's supposed to be a great bender and look forward to seeing some new r50 armor soon.

Well yeah, thats what I meant as a gift. Example, I take a bottle of Mickey's to my grandmama, and a new DVD for Grandad when I visit their house. Your place; A tube for you, and .. well.. maybe some more tube for anyone else .
