PCV Valve Location?

My mom has a 1999 pathfinder and yesterday I checked the air filter, which was filthy and had some oil on it. I replaced the air filter and then I went searching for the PCV valve so I could replace that as well. 30 minutes of searching and no luck.

 

Does anyone know where this thing is located? I've got to think that if it is so tucked away that I missed it, it will probably be a challenge to replace, and that I should just take it somewhere and let them do it. However, if it isn't too difficult to get at I'd just do it myself.

i am not 100% sure where it is located on an R50.. but try on teh LH side of the motor (driver side) on the intake.. if you don't know what it looks like i can show you a pic of mine on my wd21. it is very easy to change.. don't get charged $200 for a 5 minute job

I think they used the same type as on our VG30e, it actually bolts into the intake.

Take a look at this pic, sorry about the lighting. In the very center are two lines going into the intake. The one on the left is a coolant line. The one on the right is the PCV.

Thanks everyone, especially for that pic lewisnc100. I would have never found it without that. It looked like some coolant hose, not a vaccum hose, so its no wonder I missed it.

 

Anyways, I found it and changed it easily. Thanks guys.
