Guest pulser9
I bought new off roading tires a couple weeks ago for my pathfinder. I didnt up the size at all there still 29s but its an offroading tread. Ok so i bought these to fit the stock weels but i dont want to use the stock weels anymore. Dose anyone know a site that has some that are the same specs as the stock ones so i can use the new tires for a good price? thanks kevin

nissandoms47
it depends on which wheel you have. if you have the chrome base wheels that come on the XE. then you have 15x6. if you have the SE i think its 15x7. and a stock tire is 265/70R15
jj big shoe
Depending on your current tires' size, you might be able to go +1 on your rim width. That way if (more like when) you decide to get larger tires you won't have to buy wider rims for them. Just remember if you go too wide, you're likely to lose a bead when aired down. mws
An option: I have the old standby 15x8 Rock Crawlers for my 31x10.5 off road tires. And then light weight 16x8 aluminum wheels for my P255/70-16 daily driving AT tires. Why two sets? I hate the handling, poor wet weather traction, and significant mpg impact of the off road tires. They weigh well more than 10 pounds (each!) than the AT tires on aluminum wheels. So if you are going to buy a new set, get something that allows you to do something similar...
