I wanna run a flowmaster muffler what series would be best to run I was told to run the 50 series SUV model I can get the 50 series for 20$ cheaper the then 50 SUV model what would happen if I ran a 40 series muffler all in all I want something that will sound good

search around the forums, there quite a bit of info on the subject. I personaly use the 40 series, which sounds great, and performs well. Can't really comment on the 50 series, as I have no experience with those, however, once again, search around, there have been plenty of discussion on the subject of flowmasters.

What he said /\ . I've had a 40 series for probably 3 years now and its great. Nice sound, etc. etc. I bet you wouldn't be disappointed with a 50 either, although I can't vouch since I haven't used one. Regardless, from what I've seen, they're quality products. My brother has had dual 40's on his 5.0 Mustang for probably 7+ years now and it still sounds sweet.
