Well I thought I fixed the problem..well after washin the truck the fuel pump fuse shorts out everytime i turn the ignition on....i blew everything off and it fired up and left at home while i got a ride to work....got home and it was doin the same thing.....i repeated wut i did before but still no luck....any other ideas...could it be the fuel pump itself?...i have no clue...help haha

I suppose it could be the fuel pump, but it sounds more like you are grounding out somewhere. Time to start chasing wires I think. Odd that washing it caused the issue, these trucks are usually tougher then that...

Obviously you have a bad short in your wiring. The water prolly moved the wiring harness around enough to cause a bad section to short out somewhere. The first thing to do is crawl under there and start checking the wiring. Then pull the carpet back inside the cargo area, take off the floor access panel and make sure it's all good on top of the tank. If you know how to use a multimeter or wire tester, use that.
