So I have directional ice tires on my 98 and I put in a set of new shocks. They're Munroe Sensicrap (cheap). When we still had dry pavement up here, I missed a turn and had to back up in a hurry and I've never had wheel hop like that before. :huh: It's happened a couple times since in reverse when I really give 'er. Has anyone else had this? Is this just a bad combo or what?

Directional tires are just that. Directional. The hop was probably more likely caused by the tires than anything else. Put a directional tire on rotating the wrong way, and see how little traction you have. I would say it's nothing to worry about, and if you put your regular all-seasons on, it wouldn't happen.
