O2 sensor problem after major service

LMAO at "stares at the O2 wire for a long time"... Personally, I'd find another mechanic in the future.

Is the fan clutch loose or the waterpump ? The pully is on the waterpump... I've had bad luck in the past removing and replacing fan clutches and waterpumps. My theory is that the ballance is different than what it origionally 'seated' to and prematurely wears the part. I would not necessarily blame the mechanic for that. How many miles on that fan clutch ? Yes it's an easy job but $100 is outrageous ! Er, you have the R50... I bought a water pump/fan clutch for my old 720 for about $65...

I just had a friend looked at my car. He said not to worry about it. If my radiator don't get overheated then just leave it as is. He said that the vibration could be anything. It could be a belt too tight. Which he thinks my belt is a little too tight. He said it could be something the mechanic had done inside. So I think I will take my friend advice and just leave it as it.

As for my truck, I have 14400km or 87010 miles on it. I don't think that is that much. I was looking up the price for fan clutch. It will cost me over $100 us just to get the parts. That is an expensive part. So i will leave it as is until i get overheat.

And as for why i blame all the problems to my mechanics? I have heard too many bad storys about mechanics. My situation seems to find into theses storoes. My car have never had so many problems before. It was running just fine before I get my timming belt change. After the timming belt, I had all these problems. All these problems are related to the things my mechanics had touched. I told him to take out my heat shield. Done! and then my o2 sensors die. I told him to change timming belt and water pump, Done! and now he say the fan clutch is dying. Every where he touched seems to create problems for me. I will definally not bring my car to him to get anything fix again. My mechanics is suppose to be a friend of a friend. But that doesn't seem to matter.

Man I found another problem. I jack up my truck yesterday and i found broken Strut Boot on both suspension. The one on driver side is toally broken and the passanger side was cracked. I just had my 2 strut replaced 3000km ago. The looser mechanical didn't changed that for me when he should have seen sign of wear. He should have notice the problem when he changed it. Man he will never touch my car again. Is there anything that I can do? If I go back to him I think he will just say they are just broken now and make me pay for the fix.

Is broken strut boot not necessary to get fix?
