f_favila
Hey Guys I was reading Consumer Guides Website and they said this about 90-93 Pathfinders... "Oil leak: Oil leaks from the manual transmission are likely coming from the breather vent. (1990-93)". Is this true and how do we go about fixing this? I have a leak from the manual tranny but don't know exactly where it's comming from. Thanks In Advance. Edited July 6, 2005 by f_favila
Animal
The vent is connected to a long tube which runs up to the right side of the firewall (under the hood) ending in an upside down U with the end open. I've heard the open end can get blocked which will cause the trans to become pressurized and force fluid out from around seals, but haven't actullay seen this problem myself. Where do you see the oil on the outside of the trans? What is the highest most forward oil stain? Edited July 6, 2005 by Animal
