Guest brianwi11iams
I had a 1996 Discovery, and it was definately good off road, but my 1997 QX4 can handle anything that I'd ever dare to attempt off road, and it's SO much more reliable and refined. So unless you really want to do some hardcore off road stuff, I'd advise against any British vehicles, like everyone has said, they are reliability nightmares and few shops will touch them. Trainman
Passed a four door Rover with 3, count em, 3 brand new jerry cans on the roof! (only 120 km between gas stations here) and not a bit of dirt anywhere on it. Not sure if the extra gas is an indication of its gas usage or if the driver just thought it would be cool to try and look like he was in Africa.
