95 Pathfinder Throttle Body

Recommended Posts

I'm leaving a link to a reddit post I made because i can't attach the photo here.

It goes below the throttle body, and I don't know what it does or what should be with it l.

Any and all help will be appreciated.

I've never seen anything like that on my '90 (Federal model). Almost looks like a brake fitting.
The only thing connected to my throttle body are in/out coolant lines, the EGR control vacuum line and the vacuum line for the carbon cannister.
'below the throttle body' is only the rubber CCV line connecting to the valve cover.
What's the other end normally connected to or at least more specifically where does it connect?

It's 100 percent for the EGR, to connect to the BPT valve. Goes in this hole here. Then there is this little disc thing it that connects to that pipe with short 1.5" piece of rubber hose.

So the bottom of that round disc with that blue label on it, there is a small pipe, it joins to that pipe you removed with a small piece of vacuum line.
