Rome11six
I have looked on marketplace place for roof rails as my 95 does not have any rails whatsoever. The ones I tried are of course the clamp on kind like these https://photobucket.com/share/e35e891e-fa18-499f-9c57-31b438e4c59b They won't work as the door can't close. Now I've seen some pathfinders with the clamp on kind but never really looked at what style they are. Does anyone know what style to use as I don't wanna buy another set just for them to not work. Rome11six
Well I found some that will work for now but they bend the door a tad https://photobucket.com/share/4a719d1a-1e22-47b3-af32-c33c146c3065 https://photobucket.com/share/6c6d8f18-de7d-4216-986b-ba9977b10cd1 I'm going to remake the braket eventually to recess it so it won't come into contact with the door......at least as much anyway. https://photobucket.com/share/9e0f1887-7a44-4e95-ae71-9d79d108d625
Slartibartfast
You could probably get a set of the stock roof rails from a wrecker. They're just riv-nutted to the roof. The screws are JIS, like Phillips, except you'll likely round them with a Phillips bit. You may well round them with a JIS driver too--they're quite small, and I think there's some kind of thread sealant on them. I don't think I've seen the clamp-ons used on one of these. I guess if it works?
