Does it get as hot as your engine? I would think it would get pretty hot depending on what you're doing. If you're towing a load, or whatnot, then yes, I'd imagine it could get hot. Thats the whole reasoning in adding an aftermarket tranny cooler. If you're going to add protection to your tranny, why negate it by taking out the stock one? 02silverpathy Posted May 7, 2005 Author Share Posted May 7, 2005 no, no, no, i mean leave the old one (cooler) in the radiator and run regular oil lines to it...then adding a more efficient tranny cooler outside of the radiator...now what d'ya think??
