Guest jryan
Does anyone know how to remove the plastic framing that goes around the stereo and heat/ac on a 97 Pathfinder? I have found the two scews at the bottom of the console but i do not know how to take it off from there.
Pezzy
I have a 99.5, but I assume it's the same... I removed those two screws from the bottom, and then you just pull the rest off by hand... the top half is held in by metal clips. Guest dssenglish
check this out http://www.carstereohelp.com/stereoremovalNispthfndr.htm is your stereo a bose?
RowOSU
With the 97 you unscrew the screws than just pull off the rest. The 99.5+ has a two part bezel and the upper part must be removed before the lower. It's pretty easy, good luck
vengeful
Yeah...simply remove the two screws at the bottom, and pull, hard, by the heater vents. You'll have to disconnect some wiring harnesses once you get it off, but that's easy.
