Tacosniper77
I am about to replace my driver's front window motor and regulator. I have took the 2 bolts out that holds the glass on. I cannot seem to get the glass turned properly to remove from the door. I have tinted glass, and do not want to scratch the poo out of it. Also, I have vent visors on it. Any tips or instruction to help please? 2002 SE
RedPath88
I've never done it on an R50 but, if you cannot get it out, then will pushing it all the way up and wedging or painters taping it up, give you the clearance you need to get the regulator out? tjreif
I actually just replaced my regulator in my drivers side, rotate it completely 90degrees to the right and pull it out to the outside of the vehicle, when I did it my motor was seized, also I recommend a wood stilt if you will to hold the glass up from falling through and breaking while your bolting it back on the new regulator! Best of luck! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
tjreif
I don’t have the vent visors so you might have to take those off to get it out.. and DO NOT over tighten those two bolts that hold the glass up because you will stress fracture your window or even shatter it...Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
