treywurst
When my 91 gets out of the shop I am thinking about painting the wheels black. Anyone have any suggestions on what to do to make sure the job is done right? I don't wanna have any chipping or cracking. I have the basic stock chrome 15's that come on the XE. Thanks! KILLVOX
Yo Trey, Definitly go for it. I painted my legos gloss black and they look killer. First clean them really good. No grease or anything left on them. Then i used Rustolium grey primer. and then Rustolium gloss black. I have had them like that for 2 years now. I got a couple nicks from rocks, but I just gave it a Quick shot of gloss black and they are good as new. Good luck and lets see some pics. joeytattoo
on chrome I'd sand blast them or steel whool them first to be sure that the paint doesnt peel off of a smooth surface.

94 Pathy
Yo KILLVOX, could you post some wheel shots of your leggos? I would love to see close ups or side shots of the wheels. I'm thinking about doing the same or doing the hammered look. I've already painted my center caps the hammered, but not the actual wheels yet. Looks tight!
