I plan on replacing my AC compressor at some point with a brand new one along with some other components due to a ticking noise in the compressor at idle and the fact that pag and mineral oil was mixed and started eating through the hoses (one already blew).

 

Are the compressors the same between the r1w and r134a systems besides the oils and refrigerant used?

 

Are the high and low side lines compatible besides the pressure ports?

 

I plan on doing a real conversion instead of half assing it like a PO did.

I have always believed in whole assing.

Lol I prefer to do it right once instead of spending twice the money
