Odd Power Door Lock Problem

My truck has decided to start unlocking itself sometime during the night! For the past few days, my truck has been unlocked first thing in the morning. I thought that maybe I was just going crazy, but last night I verified that it was locked when I went to bed. When I went out to check it today, all doors were unlocked. I have no idea when it is happening, or if the lights blink or anything when it unlocks. It isn't doing it immediately after locking it. Tonight, I have removed the batteries from both keyfobs to see if that's the cause. My best guess is that it's one of the following:

 

1) keyless entry module

2) power door lock switch

3) keyfob

4) some kind of interference

 

Has anyone run into this? This is not going to be a fun problem to track down.

Do your turn signals flash when you lock it using your keyfob? On my 2002 they only flash sometimes, and when they don't it's an indication that the security system hasn't been armed. Part of a larger problem I'm having where the alarm goes off in the middle of the night.

 

I bring it up because I had an instance where I was camping in the back with the doors unlocked, and they locked themselves randomly right as I was falling asleep. Gave me a good jump. Possibly related issues?

So a little update. I pulled the batteries out of both keyfobs last night, and it was still locked this morning. I may have discovered my problem right away! Now I need to figure out which one is causing my headaches. This type of troubleshooting is so time consuming.

My 01 has the same issue from time to time. Except really obnoxious! I can be driving and all the sudden my blinkers start flashing like hazard lights and the doors unlock themselves. As soon as I take the battery out of the remote, all is well. Its the original remote, so I'm sure it's about time to get a new one programmed
