04 Pathy Front Struts

Hello all.

 

Kind of new on here, but love my Pathfinder, when I get to drive it(wifes daily driver). Would you recommend KYB front struts for this truck? If not what would you recommend? Looked at Bilstein's struts but apparently they don't list our vehicles any more.

When changing the front struts, should the springs be replaced as well?

Not a necessary part to replace, unless you are trying to get more height.

I used the KYB on mine, but waited (month) for my OME springs to arrive. My goal was lift - and the struts were already gone.

 

I've been told: if you are doing springs - do the struts. If struts are gone and springs are not damaged - struts alone are fine.

If you want to do both but stay stock height. Gabriel has a complete unit. But makes for a easy drive way swap out.

I changed the struts and shocks but not springs they seem fairly new. I found the old service manual and a ton of receipts the (mostly water damaged) but the springs are under 5yrs old
