Can anyone give me any tips and things to look out for on installing a standard tranny in place of an automatic in a 93 3.0 4x4 pathy?

Any help will be appreciated.

Hi Sweep, my name is Jose Garcia. I just replaced my 94 Pathfinder auto tranny with a manual one. No problem. Evrything fit perfectly. I just had to by a flywheel and bolts cause they are longer for manuals. I had to order them through the dealership. Well here's a list of items I had to buy for the conversion:

Flywheel

Flywheel bolts

Set of pedals (break/clutch at a local JY)

Clutch Cylinder

Clutch line

Clutch and press plate

Pilot bushing

Slave Cylinder

Slave Cylinder hose and bolt

Shifters' boot

The metal plaque where the boots sits

Center console (for manuals, it's shorter)

That's just about it. Considering your tranny comes w/ the shifters. Make sure you get the set of bolts for the bell housing; cause the holes are a bit longer than the auto tranny bell housing holes including the starter bolts. If you come up with any other question let me know.

You are just the Person i am looking for, thanks for the reply!!

How did you set up all the electrical connections on the manual?

Do you need and new ecu for the Manual tranny?
