Hey everyone! I thought I'd finally post here now that my DMV paperwork has been sorted out. I'm the proud owner of a new to me silver 1987 Pathfinder DX, it's very much the base model haha but in pretty great shape. 4x4 with the manual transmission and the Z24i 4 banger with 130,000 miles. The interior looks almost brand new (especially the seats) with a few small cracks on the dash. No major rust, just some where the 4x4 badges go and a spot on the passenger side door sill.

Tomorrow it needs to get smogged, hopefully it'll be fine after I track down whichever vacuum hose is leaking (the cold idle rpm seems a bit high and it surges a little at idle). It drives great though despite the uhhhh modest power output.

I'll try and get some pics after I get it cleaned up!

Howdy Toast!

Wow, you have one of the first year models with a 2.4? That is a fairly rare bird, and I bet it can't get out of it's own way...

I had the Z24 in a 1984 D720 king cab 4x4. Best vehicle I ever owned and that motor never let me down.

I'm up in the North Bay, Santa Rosa exactly...
