verbious
Been lurking these forums since spring of '14. Thank you to all of you that have gone before me and posted your trials, tribulations, experiences, tips and tricks. They have been invaluable!!! Over the passed 25 years I've had a number of great off road vehicles. A few CJs, a 1977 Jimmy, my Z24 Cavalier, and now my Pathfinder. Vehicles I've owned are numerous. In the past, it was Chevrolet and Jeep, now it's Dodge and Nissan. I have outdoor hobbies like shooting, kayaking, fishing, geocaching, metal detecting, and cycling. I want to get into camping and hiking a little more in the coming year, so having a rugged, reliable, and comfortable vehicle like the Pathfinder is a MUST for me. I bought mine in the spring of 2014 and it has been great to me ever since. I've had to replace the brake lines, the exhaust, plugs and wires, the shocks and struts. I just installed the OME lift springs and trim packers last night. It took a leisurely 5 hours to get the kit installed. Looking forward to sharing my experiences with the forum!!!!!!! Good day to all.

verbious
Hahahah! The Cavalier was my only vehicle when I was stationed at Fort Bragg in the late 1990s. It had to get to all the good fishing holes and I may have dragged a few downed trees for firewood from time to time.
verbious
in 1988, my first car was a 1978 Trans Am with a 400/400 and a limited slip differential. I blew the motor after driving it cross country from California to Texas to Long Island New York and the back to Pittsburgh. i put a 455 in it and then accidentally locked up the tranny and sold it. I had a 1977 Chevy Monza that had a 305 V8 and a Saginaw 4 speed. Then the list gets long and murky from there. My best friend and I would just knock on people's doors and ask them if their car was for sale. Most of the times we'd buy them for a few hundred bucks, put a battery in it or an engine and drive it for a few months then sell it or trade it. I had a few GM F bodies in there, 1976 Camaro, a 1977 Firebird, a Dodge Colt, that I had to weld the passenger door closed, an early Pontiac Sunbird, then my CJ7, an 1983 Monte Carlo and a 1986 Grand Prix. I had an 1988 Iroc, an FZR 600 and a Ford Escort in Hawaii. Fort Bragg saw the Escort get turned in and the Cavalier got purchased followed by my GMC Jimmy and the 200SX. i left NC with the Jimmy and an 84 Cherokee. Back in PA, I I sold the Blazer and parked the Jeep. I had an 86 Cutlass Ciera and a Honda 5 door wagon, then a Dodge Intrepid a 1994 Cavalier and another Cherokee. I had the D21 and the Intrepid got totaled and replaced with a 2002 Grand Prix. The Dodge Ram and a 2013 Durango were just before the Pathfinder in 2014. I've had a few motorcycles thrown in there as well. I currently have the Pathfinder and a 2009 Yamaha Warrior 1700 and I gave the wife the Durango when she moved out. Whew. I think I'm missing something....
