rosspbig
Its possible, but it would be a custom job.
96pfinderSE
Whats a diff drop? Ive only heard of a sub frame drop. Tryin to learn somethin new here.
nick1716
drop your front differential lower so your cv joints arent at that bad of an angle
96pfinderSE
Thats what i thought. I just call it a sub frame drop. Yea its custom job (i wish i knew how to weld). You have to drop the sub frame then lift the engine back up. Then say goodbye to cv problems
nick1716
well i know how to weld..thats what im in skool for but on toyotas you dont need to do any welding...its just like a body spacer pretty much... like 2-3 inch in diameter by 2 inch thick (or how ever much drop you want) with a hole drilled in the center
96pfinderSE
Well i think that might work. But remember you have to lift the engin back up. so if you drop the sub frame 2inches you got lift the engine 2. keeps the tranny and driveshaft in line. Just use the idea and go with it man. tell me if it works an ill be right behing you on it

88pathoffroad
SLR makes those for Frontiers/Xterras only. Click on the picture for more info on their website. I've never looked at mine to see what it'd take, but it may very well be possible.
96pfinderSE
I seriously think that could be done. If you could fab some bushings up like that. of find an almost identical car that can use that and use it.
88pathoffroad
From Brent(OffroadX) on the NOR forums: The SLR diff drop bushings will interchange with all Pathfinder, Hardbody, Frontier, and Xterra R200A diffs, the part numbers for the bushings/mounts/members are either the same or cross over. Brent So! If you have an R200A front diff, apparently the bushings are the same and these drop bushings will work!
