I'd stick with the stock one, because I believe it a water cooled option.

 

And having to plug all that up just doesn't seem like a worth while project. And if you live in a pretty cold area in winter, you have to cover the external cooler with something to insure the oil actually warms up.

Ok, I had a look at Rock Auto's selection of oli coolers for my vehicle and they offer three; one light duty, one medium duty and one heavy duty. Do you have any idea of which one most closely matches the stock oil cooler?
