esrousset
Hi, I have a 2001 with 214,000 miles. Recently it started stuttering at about 2500RPM and will not go past that. I have check coils, plugs. Any suggestions Thanks in advance Al
ferrariowner123
I know for the early models. If you are having maf issues it will behave like that. Check to make sure it plugged in, has a solid, corrosion free connection, and it's clean on it's elements. -Kyle
Precise1
OBD2 reader, it is your friend. Seriously, that is 1/2 the reason for the system and the place to start, it can tell you a lot! Some places like Pep Boys, AutoZone, etc (check to make sure) will loan a reader/check the codes for you for free, and a cheap reader (all you need) is about $40+ and worth the $. Sounds like you are in limp mode (ECU default setting for 'we have a problem'. Go to the Garage section and download a free copy of the FSM from the pinned thread, it will be your new bible.
