Are there any specific years to look for? How hard would it be to install the heating elements in a WD21 with cloth seats? I would think it would just be a matter of securing the pieces needed for the swap and removing the seat fabric, install the pads, and re-install the fabric. Going to guess that the pads themselves are glued to the foam in some way?

I'm not sure how they are installed, but I recently helped my friend swap the leather interior from my parts 95 SE into his 95 XE with the crappy cloth seats. All we had to do was take the sub harness that connected the seats and switches to the main harness, and they work great.

 

I know you can put them in the cloth seats, you'd probably just have to take them apart and install the elements. Couldn't be that hard.

 

I would look for any 93-95 seats as they are the same, the 92 and older are a little different.
