MrJoosten
Hey Everyone, I used to own a couple of Toyota's that had a Clutch Cancel Start button in em, I found it to be very helpful warming it up in the cold mornings, Im trying to figure out a way to create a Clutch Cancel Start button for my 1997 Pathfinder. How would you guys do it? shoot some ideas at me. I know I can just go out and buy a car starter and what not but I want to make my own thats cheaper and also seld rewarding lol
deerhurst
It's probably far easier than you think. See if your clutch switch is normally open or normally closed. If I remember right the switch is activated when the clutch is out, no pressure on the pedal. If it is normally closed you just have to wire a switch to connect the 2 wires just like it would be with no pressure on the switch. If normally open, just place the switch in-line with a wire that breaks or completes the connection. Basically, you just have to mimic what the switch does when the clutch is depressed.
