Oleschool Posted November 23, 2014 Share Posted November 23, 2014 I just replaced my passenger side catalytic and I just wanted to say that it is a pretty easy job.The nice heat shields that Nissan built did not get re-used as the aftermarket cat I bought had its own heat shield built into it.The factory converter had nothing in it and I think someone gutted it.I hope that the media hasn't gone into my muffler. I've been driving it with the CEL on(PO 420) and since the weather has got colder my fuel mileage has become dismal.I hope it will improve now that the cat has been replaced.
