daczone
Everything I read says the distributor is to me at the 11 O Clock position when standing at the drivers front tire looking at the engine at TDC. However I have aligned the marks on my distributor before inserting and it comes at at TDC pointed to Cylinder #1 but nowhere near the 11 O Clock position. Anyone else have this issue? Haven't fired it up yet just wanted to confirm.
daczone
So I found this pic on the NET... So I'm not crazy. My Distributor at TDC Cylinder 1 points in to the 1 O Clock position exactly like this one:

daczone
Thank You for confirming that.... Everything on the NET says 11:00. I triple checked my belt alignment so I was very surprised to find this off. Thank You very much!
Kingman
Craziness! If it runs roll with it! The more you know...
SpecialWarr
The only way I can figure "11:00" orientation is through a typo. That reads 1pm as far as I can tell!!
Kingman
Well, if you look at it from the front it's 11.

daczone
Does match the manual... Which is what was throwing me off. Or even the VG33:

Nefarious
You got it. Threw me for a loop the first time I timed my vg33e swap. The way you have it pictured looks correct. Throw a timing light on it and you will know for sure.
