well ive been searching around for about 30min reading up on doing a t-bar crank and new coils in the rear and i have a few questions.

would i have to do a t-case drop?

will i have to relocate my brake lines?

and can i just slide under my pathy and turn the adjusters on the t-bars? or do i have to loosen anything? sorry for the newb questions but when i was reading up on how to do it, it wanst all that clear to me.

thanks

1. No

2. No

3. Yes

try this, it's pretty straight forward:

Torsion Bar Lift

If they're really fatigued, you might have to re-index them first to be able to crank them adequately. Here's a link for that, too:

Re-indexing Torsion Bars

Good Luck... and welcome to the forums !

No problemo... Just remember, about the most you can go up is 2" or so. Trying to go higher will make it very hard to align and will wear out steering parts without going to aftermarket upper contol arms (UCA's). Make sure you're not setting on your bump stops, either ~ you'll have no downward travel in the suspension. You can get low profile stops that'll give you a little more room, too.

Good luck, it's getting closer to spring all the time... -bounce-

lol yea i know im looking forward to all the mud and the mods me and the pops are gunna do when it warms up.

the t-bar crank with my stock stuff is just temporary untill i find a job with more hours, then ill beable to get the new UCAs and t-bars along with a 2in BL. then a basket on the roof for the spare tire and high-lift jack. then im gettign new wheels and tires. unless i wear the tires out really fast then they come first. ohh yea and the lights cant forget about those.

and thanks for info on the bump stops.
