Hellwarf
Hey guys my R50 has just started giving me trouble with it being very hard to start and when it does start it stalls under heavy acceleration. Things I have checked, I replaced the fuel filter and noticed the fuel was pretty brown also did an oil change, oil filter and air filter. I have checked the MAF, TPS they seem to be working correctly. When she does start she idles at about 750RPM but when put under heavy load such as a stall test or heavy acceleration she stalls and I have noticed a bit of white smoke leaving the Air intake.Any ideas? mel.d
No codes? Maybe a vacuum leak.
Hellwarf
Yeah I am thinking a vacuum leak and I am going to borrow a code reader tomorrow hopefully so I will update when I can.
Precise1
White smoke leaving the air intake? Like it backfired or water vapor, or? I can't imagine it stalls and doesn't have any OBD2 codes, that is where I would start other than an obvious visual inspection for anything wrong, disconnected, torn, etc. B
Hellwarf
I am thinking that it could be a possible fuel pump issue, I will get the code reader on it and see what that tells me.
Hellwarf
Just ran the code reader and diagnostic tool, she got started after some considerable effort and I got a code 34 Knock sensor She died at 3200rpm at about 20mph. TPS voltage dropped as well and fuel pump relay turned off
Rebelord
Off shoot here, but something stuck in the intake? Or clogged exhaust/converter?
Hellwarf
checked the intake thats fine, but a clogged exhaust I dont believe would make it hard to start?
