anperalta
Well hello everybody I'm a little new around here since December last year I got my Nissan and now i'm having a misfire problem on #5 cylinder which is making me going crazy........... already check spark, spark plugs, cap and rotor, and is not a fire problem, I don't think that can be a fuel problem because its an tbi injected and al the others 5 cylinders works good. Make a compression test only in that cylinder and shows 150 psi.......... pretty well, what else can I check for? I'm getting out of ideas and already have 22 days whit this problem...... HELP please!!!!
Kingman
150 is pretty low but shouldn't be enough to cause a hard misfire. I'd do a leak down on it, and another wet compression test. How does the plug look?
anperalta
I change the plug of #5 with the plug of # 4 cylinder and still have the misfire on #5....... turn 180º the distributor cap changing the post of #5 to #2 cylinder. .... and still misfire on #5..... SpecialWarr
hmm... did you try changing just the wire from #5 to another cylinder? I can't think of anything else other than a basic leak-down test, but is there a timing ring in the distributor like on the WD21? It MIGHT be dirty/ bent or its wire?? I'm just throwing stuff out there man.... best of luck!

Rebelord
Pump it up to 150 psi and let it sit. See where it drops to. Should hold higher than a certain amount. Will be in fsm Sent from my Moto X
