captandy
very easy,, instead of using his threaded bolts that are supplied with the 1,5 inch spacer.. all i did was remove my nx4 spacer and drill out his threaded spacer(flureys) to use existing strut mount tower that was welded, And yes , had plenty of bolt with extra half inch need to put nut on in engine well.whole job took an hour and its in the alignment shop now.. YES there is a noticible difference with just the addition of .5 inch! NOTE..They come white i just painted them black Edited March 25, 2014 by captandy
00PathfinderSE
Do you have take the strut apart to get the spacer on or does it sit on top of the strut between the mount and the frame?
fleurys
In his case, he did not have to take the strut apart because he already had a top plate with longer bolts welded to it... In a case of a oem strut with regular pressed in studs, you would have no choice to take it apart, remove the studs, and re-assemble with the longer bolts provided.... S.
