very easy,, instead of using his threaded bolts that are supplied with the 1,5 inch spacer.. all i did was remove my nx4 spacer and drill out his threaded spacer(flureys) to use existing strut mount tower that was welded, And yes , had plenty of bolt with extra half inch need to put nut on in engine well.whole job took an hour and its in the alignment shop now.. YES there is a noticible difference with just the addition of .5 inch! NOTE..They come white i just painted them black

In his case, he did not have to take the strut apart because he already had a top plate with longer bolts welded to it... In a case of a oem strut with regular pressed in studs, you would have no choice to take it apart, remove the studs, and re-assemble with the longer bolts provided....
