Just got a 1997 Pathfinder, with 273,000 kms from a friend .

Well, , I will be using it for towing my small boat . It will be my Fishing Pathfinder.

Now I will be able to go places where my 2WD truck could not go. I am going to enjoy

doing some 4 X 4. and finding new places to go fishing.

I am in the process of trying to get the Pathfinder ready. I just replaced the Rear Bushing for the trailing arms upper and lower today, next will be both the rear Axle Seal as the Left side is leaking, the rear shoes as they are soaked in gear oil, then the radiator which has a crack on the top tank. and finally the right rear power window switch. Lots of work .have to replace all the fluids and oil too .Hope to finish by March.

Nice! Sounds like your boat may have a hard time keeping up with your new acquisition. I need to change my running gear fluids as well. I'm going to wait for the spring weather to do mine. Welcome to NPORA.

Depending on where you try to go, the trailer might be a problem. Depending on the size and weight of the boat, maybe consider putting it up top?
