AZ_Pathfinder
Sorry for another tire question but I wanted to see if anyone had any input on this. I need new tires and love the Firestone M/T's, I had them on my frontier and performed great other than throwing a few lugs on sharp rocks out here in the desert. My question is I'm not financially at a point to get new steel wheels (3.75 bs) and a lift and bigger tires right now, darn kids taking up all my money, lol. So what I wanted to run by everyone was with the aggressive side lugs on these tires do ya'll think it will rub with the size listed above (no lift, all stock). Concern is the strut perch really as I can cut any fender/wheel well points as need be. I just cant afford all new wheels with 3.75 back spacing, although I really wish I could, later down the road I will. Thanks in advance, oh and I did look in the pinned section and found people running this size tire but not with this aggressive of tread pattern, more street A/T tires, not the big knobby M/T's that i want. bushnut
245/70/16 is stock on my 2000. lots of clearance to the strut perch. you should be fine with a 75 series tire.
SheldonGXP
I put 265/70 muds on mine and got a fair but of rubbing with badly sagged suspension. But they cleared the struts just fine. Sent from my GT-I9505 using Tapatalk
Karmann
Should be no issue, I had that size on stock suspension for a while with no issues, after my quick rubbing solution
