Ballsie
2002 QX4 4x4 - Bose indash cd changer with cassette (no satellite) My truck has the overhead DVD screen and I have an "AUX" button down next to the seat heater. When you hit the aux button the stereo display reads "aux" and the DVD audio is played through the car stereo. Does anyone know if I can yank the DVD player in the back and wire in a regular 3.5mm aux jack instead? I want to set up my Belkin Aircast bluetooth receiver, but I have no aux jack to connect it. I tried the cassette adapter, but it sounds terrible.
96Pathfinder4x4
I don't see why not. It truly depends on how the dvd player is wired in. More than likely it's an audio(red or/and white)/video(yellow) RCA style jack. You'll just have to run an adapter from the red or/and white RCA jack if that's the case. Ballsie
I haven't investigated it yet. I was hoping someone here had already done it and could save me some time. I am planning on jumping on it this weekend.
