ripready Posted September 28, 2013 Share Posted September 28, 2013 I'm replacing the radio dash/cigarette tray trim on my 1993 Pathfinder and the new one doesn't have the lighter installed into it. I'm trying to remove my old lighter but have no idea how it comes off. Anyone know how to remove the cigarette lighter socket from the trim piece? Thanks in advance for the help. Alkorahil Posted September 28, 2013 Share Posted September 28, 2013 The front o-ring/protector and the socket are two seperate parts that connect together. you shoudl be able to rotate the socket 180 degree while holding the protector and unhook the socket.
