1996 rear upper and lower control/trailing links same as 97?

Recommended Posts

I'm going to replace the rear upper and lower trailing arms. I don't wanna bother with pressing the bushings out and all that jazz so I want to order the complete links with the bushings already installed and just swap them out. I The cheapest I found them was at amazon.com for about $45 each complete made by Dorman with Lifetime Warranty but it says that they won't fit the 1996 but it will fit the 1997 Pathfinder. Is the info correct? Are the 96 and 97 upper and lower links different? If they are what's different on them?

If they won't fit I'll just probably buy the poly bushing kit from 4x4parts.com

Thanks for the help.

Im fairly sure in saying that the trailing arms are the same for all the models from 1996 -2004 i think the only suspension that changes in the face lift was something in the front suspension (use different shocks)

But as far as 96 to 97 im 99% sure it probably fine, unless 2WD and 4WD are different.

so back to square one with your question, haha
