Honestly, you should be fine, where do you plan to put it? Right behind the shifter? Now is it auto or manual (I have taken both trannys out) I'm going to assume its manual, just keep the screws wide (closer to the seats) use pointed ends to since if you go too far you won't dig into your trans.
