Flowmaster 40 - Exhaust Questions.

Heya everybody. I'm in the process of changing up my exhaust system right now. I recently swapped out the back resonator for a piece of 3.5" piping striahgt back, and wanted next to swap out the stock muffler for a Flowmaster 40. I've seen a few on pathy's and I was wondering if anybody knew the dimensions on the piping running into the stock muffler. I know the 40 is a 1 in 1 out system and the stock muffler is a 2 in one out. Therefore I wanted to see if anybody knew the diameter I'd need to get on a Y pipe to weld in. Thanks, Chris.
