Last time I messed with ball joint spacers was the wife's old 4runner and it was basically unbolt upper ball joint from upper control arm, place spacer between them (so it "sandwiches" the spacer between the arm and ball joint) and bolt back together (longer bolts of course). On the Toyota I did have to slightly trim the arm some though due to a wHierd design on te underside of them and replaced the ball joints while they were off-just because. Was never a big fan of BJ spacers but never had an issue with them on that truck (not to be confused with the many other ones I DID have with that truck) and stacked spacers honesty sounds a little sketchy I my personal opinion.

Ok mate, cheers for your help. It's just got some positive camber on it at the mo as my tyres are wearing on outside edges, also I've read about straining the ball joints due to lifting torsion. Stacking won't be a problem as long as they are tight I think.
