PaMountianbiker
well I'm about to start my R50 SAS and I really think I should just do full Hydraulic steering . It seems to make the most sense instead of custom figuring a steering setup using a steering box and such ??? I just don't really want to spend another $1200 What do you all think ? tmoore4512
I think it can be done right for less money man, I see where a bunch of folks are knocking heim or johnny joints, but that is an effective and beffy solution. I did an S10 blazer with 4 3/4 heim joints and some .120 walled DOM tubing. Had around $200 in it, and its STILL running around in town to this day, and that was almost 4 years ago. You can also do a TRE setup, using the same method with junkyard adjusters welded into DOM tubing... Probably cheaper actually...
PaMountianbiker
I was thinking about buying a universal set up and making it work (pump, orbital valve, double ended ram ,links ,tubing , etc) http://www.pscmotorsports.com/motorsport-specific-products/offroad/full-hydraulic-steering?cat=475 Edited July 16, 2012 by PaMountianbiker
