2003 SE Blower Motor

Recommended Posts

Hi all....quick question...my blower motor is making noise and I believe it's about to go...still moves air but very noisy. How hard is it to replace (where is it? easy access?) and where is the best place to get one. I think I can do it myself...

Crazy easy to access, just remove the glove box (see here if you need a guide) then it's three screws and it slides right out. Replace the cabin filter while you're down there, and wipe down the housing before installing the blower motor. RockAuto should have a few for pretty cheap; be sure to use a 5% off discount code if you order from there. A new OEM blower motor unit is $184 online before shipping.

All model R50 used the same blower motor and fan assembly.

PART NUMBER: 27220-7J201

DESCRIPTION: MOTOR & FAN ASSY

$175.59 (NISSAN LIST: 259.34)

This part is still available from nissan.

If you havent replaed the air filter in ages....it could be as simple as blowing the crud all out of there and putting a new filter in.
