EMERGENCY

I'm stuck, got no way out, my muffler is under water and its about door level... Am I screwed if I turn the engine off? Someone please call or text 941 527-5181

As long as your intake is not under water, I think you're good. I was in the same situation, muffler under water, water coming in passenger side, and I turned the engine off. I turned it on no problem. Boat engine starts underwater afterall?

thanks guys. my phone died when i posted this so i just left it running just to be sure... ended up tearing the whole front end off and tore both tie rob boots off... :tired:

Be sure to change the diff and transfer fluids and regrease both driveshafts and maybe the front wheel bearings. Water entry is bad for lubricants. If you off-road often, cheaper conventional fluids changed at shorter intervals will save money over synthetic lubes.
