Tosh
My 1993 se 4x4 pathfinder bit the dust about a year ago. The timing belt snapped aand I tried to start it before I realized what had happened. I'm now in a tight spot and need to get what I can out of it. What would be the best thing as far as money goes to do with it? Scrap, part out? I just don't have a lot of time working full time and need money for school in the fall. Thanks
Trogdor636
Quick and easy? Sell it as a mechanics special, then you don't even need to touch it. You could part it out, then just scrap it, but if its in good shape other than the motor that would be a shame. nismothunder
You could scrap it for roughly 400 bucks, if it has good tires and wheels on it you could save those and put them on C-list (they fit 6 lug chevy remember) It could be sold as is for roughly 600ish. Although you will get calls from scrapper offering 275-300. You could try parting it out but it takes a while to do this. If you can find a new motor you could do the swap in a weekend and sell it for more. But then it maybe a while for it to sell.
