theexbrit Posted May 7, 2012 Share Posted May 7, 2012 (edited) Hey guys, we have 3-4 vehicles leaving from South Orange county heading out to Joshua Tree & the adjacent BLM areas exploring old abandoned mines, etc. We have GPS coordinates for at least 10 mines around the Old Dale mining area. Lots of ruins & old mining equipment plus fantastic views & fun 4 wheeling. Easy to moderate trails. Trip is a one dayer (although you can camp if you want), on Saturday, May 12th. Meeting at 9.30am at the Cottonwood discovery center off the 10 freeway. Bring snacks, water, sunscreen, etc, should be a beautifaul day weatherwise. Home by 8pm. PM me for more details. Andy.
