Doombugie
I have looked around alot for an answer to this question: 'What differential Crown and pinion gears are in what year/model pathfinders' with little success to find a SOLID answer. I currently run a 1994 nissan pathfinder XE with an LSD, Manual, 4WD. i believe i am running 4.6 gears? i am not certain. A friend of mine, runs a 1989 pathfinder XE with an LSD, Manual, 4WD. we are both unsure to the gears in this. The 89' came with 29.5" tires when it was stock and new. the 94 came with 31". If someone could help me/us out, it would be greatly apreitiated.
Precise1
There is no solid answer, virtually any combination of year, tranny or trim can have either 4.36 or 4.63 gears. You need to look on the plaque under the hood on the passenger fender. It'll say HG43 or HG46... B
