1994 Nissan Pathfinder XE Manual. For some time, i considered many different vehicles to purchase as my first. over the course of a year or so, i had contemplated Camaros, Firebirds, Fieros, Pickups, BMW's, mercedes, etc.... finally, after a thought of my fathers pathy, i decided on just that. basically, i've begun the revival of old times for my father, and begun my own. He has owned a 1989 Nissan pathfinder since new, its been as far as the Alaska, to the arctic circle, the prairies, and the forests of BC. having modifications to suspension, body lift, engine, tires, and the other offroad goodies, it was one of the most capable offroad machines that was legal for the road. I have begun my revival with the basics. the truck is now in the shop, having the body lifted off the frame for a complete rebuild and cleaning. eventually, over the course of the next year, plans are made to paint the frame, lift the suspension, buff the exterior and rebuild the engine. A body lift, as well as a bush bar, WARN winch and hubs, offroad lighting system, and a couple other goodies are in order. in total ill be placing all my saved money towards the vehicle, but it will all be worth the capability and looks it will offer. practicality in a camaro, it just wasn't there. Ill update as time goes on. winter is comming, and the shop will continue to run. REVIVAL OF THE GOOD OLD TIMES, AND THE BEGINNING OF NEW ADVENTURES.

  1. Hey edicer2, you have fit 32's on a pathfinder without body lifting your truck, correct? what have you done to fit 32's? any fender trimming?

  2. Another 94' pathfinder was picked up. utilizing the Charcoal gray body on this one. also switching to the AT for rock climbing abilities.

  3. I have looked around alot for an answer to this question: 'What differential Crown and pinion gears are in what year/model pathfinders' with little success to find a SOLID answer. I currently run a 1994 nissan pathfinder XE with an LSD, Manual, 4WD. i believe i am running 4.6 gears? i am not certain. A friend of mine, runs a 1989 pathfinder XE with an LSD, Manual, 4WD. we are both unsure to the gears in this. The 89' came with 29.5" tires when it was stock and new. the 94 came with 31". If someone could help me/us out, it would be greatly apreitiated.
  4. I am looking into doing a 6" overall suspension lift for my 1994 XE. 3" body and 3" lift. what difficulties beyond just installing the shocks/UCA's/Springs/Torsion bars are there?
  5. I have the same question, only i am wondering about safety. will safety decline giving me the go ahead with a 3" suspension lift, or would they still give it to me?
